Mission
It's Good News!
At the heart of Christian mission is the Good News: in Jesus Christ, God comes to us in love, lives among us, dies and rises for us, overcoming sin and death. Through him we are forgiven, restored, and made new. This is good news for all.
Mission flows from this gospel. By the Holy Spirit, the Church is formed as a worshipping community and sent to live it out in word and action—through evangelism, discipleship, service, justice, peacemaking, and care for creation.
Mission is sharing in God’s work in the world.
The Mission Committee
The Mission Committee is led by Rev Craig Dobney and are working to inspire Mission across Presbytery. Below is a webinar where congregations came together to share what they have been doing and to share ideas.Â
