Ian qualified as an accountant in 1986 and worked in private practice until 2012 when I set up my own business looking after a number of clients as well as Company Secretary and Administrator of the Clydesdale Horse Society which looks after, promotes and preserves Scotland’s biggest heavy horses – the ones with the white hairy legs and feet – and which are a rare breed.
Ian is a member of Crieff Parish Church since 1978, elder for 30 years and during each of these 30 years have been the Congregation’s Treasurer (twice) Session Clerk and Gift Aid Treasurer. Local worship leader accredited by the former Presbytery of Perth.

Mission Plan Implementation OfficerÂ
Dan Rous (rhymes with the English pronunciation of House, not the Scottish Hoose!) also works as a freelance Church and Community Developer, and has worked in Scottish community, faith, and social enterprise projects since late 2002. His upbringing was in The Salvation Army, but has worshipped at a Vineyard Church since 2016. However, his whole life has had an ecumenical outlook and he loves working with and supporting people from all denominations. For this role, he brings experience from spending a year working at 121, and also working alongside a range of Church of Scotland parishes both pre and post union. He is married to Carol-Anne, and has 3 children and a crazy cocker spaniel.

Safeguarding Officer
Mairi Macleod has most recently worked as part of the engagement team for a cancer prevention charity, working with many national charities and alongside the NHS to increase awareness around cancer prevention, especially promoting key messages to groups in society that experience inequality and barriers to accessing screening. Mairi studied at Edinburgh Napier University and her background includes more than a dozen years as a professional trainer in both corporate and charity sectors. In her free time Mairi enjoys time out and about with her adorable west highland terrier, Archie!
